Esher Garden

This garden was discovered under 6-ft-high brambles and weeds. The design aim was to restore as much as possible of the original planting scheme whilst also creating new seating areas and wider planted beds.

The restored garden is a haven of peace and tranquility where specimen trees - acer griseum and davidia involucrata - are showcased alongside quercus ilex and ilex aquifolium. The leaky pond has been transformed into a firepit and seating areas are created amidst the planting and under the wisteria. At the back of the garden, the azalea bed is restored and a functional space for shed and compost is created. The view from the house is breathtaking, an enchanting landscape that invites you to enter.
